If you're a member of an organization or company that partners with Avis, please contact that organization directly and ask whether it has an Avis Worldwide Discount number you may use for your rental.

An Avis Wizard number is the easiest way to manage your Avis reservations. With a Wizard number, you can store your travel details and preferences in your profile, making reservations easier and faster. You can quickly track, view, modify or cancel your upcoming reservations, and get receipts for past rentals with just one click.

How to get one -

You can easily register online to Avis Preferred Service and you'll automatically receive a Wizard number right away.

Forgot Wizard Number or Password -

Go to the Log In page, and click the corresponding link.

If you have any trouble with our online process, additional assistance is available by calling Avis Customer Service at 1800-141-000.

Please note: If you have just enroled in Avis Preferred Service, you may still need to activate your account from your e-mail confirmation page.

Yes. You can still make a reservation on Avis.com.au with an expired or cancelled credit card number, but you will need to provide a valid credit card at the time of rental. Preferred Service members will need to stop at the counter before going out to their assigned spot. To avoid this hassle, we recommend you update the credit card on your profile before making any reservations.

For customers who have registered with Avis.com.au and have an Avis online profile, updating information in your profile is easy!

Just login and click on the section under My Profiles that you would like to update:

  • Travel Preferences - select vehicle preferences and optional items, such as GPS and WiFi Option.
  • Protections / Coverages - set personal and rental car coverages.
  • Identity / Password - for name changes, phone number updates and to change password.
  • Contact Information - update your address, country of residence* and e-mail address.
  • Credit Card - change the card stored in your profile, or simply update expiration date.
  • Site Preferences - set the language Avis.com.au displays in: English AU or US you can also choose the type of communications you receive from Avis through this section.

Each section, once expanded, has an edit link. Click the edit link to begin, make your updates and finish by clicking the save button.

*Please Note: Preferred Service members may not change country of residence through the online process.
