For another year running, AVIS Australia secured Most Popular Car Rental Operator at ATIA’s 2024 National Travel Industry Awards, as well as sweeping up Australia's Leading Car Rental Company 2024 at the World Travel Awards.
The acknowledgements serve as testament to AVIS’ unwavering commitment to leading in the car hire industry, through consistent innovation and exceptional customer service.
AVIS is dedicated to providing seamless travel experiences to customers across its 220 Australian locations, through offerings such as AVIS Preferred and AVIS Precheck, and technology such as AVIS Express Exit and the recently relaunched AVIS App.
The National Travel Industry Awards are judged by Australian travel industry professionals; a record number of 1,715 nominations were submitted for the 2024 NTIAs, spanning 35 award categories. AVIS has won the last four NTIA Awards on offer for Australia’s Most Popular Car Rental Operator. These were in 2018, 2019, 2023 and 2024. The awards were announced at Sydney’s International Convention Centre on Saturday night 26 October 2024, in front of 1,300 industry leaders.
Each year, the World Travel Awards govern a comprehensive voting program across the industry’s most vital sectors and product offerings across three tiers: country, regional and world awards.
