All additional drivers must meet the same minimum age & drivers license requirements as the renter. An additional charge of USD 9.99 per day will be applicable for any additional driver.

Damage Waiver 

In most cases, Damage Waiver is provided with the vehicle as standard. If it is included, it will be stated on your Rental Agreement Form (and in your booking confirmation).

Damage Waiver reduces the amount you pay for each clearly separate incident of damage if the vehicle is damaged (or the amount you pay to replace any keys, accessories or vehicle documents that are lost, stolen or damaged). 

The amount you pay for each clearly separate incident of damage will be the lower of a) the applicable cost payable under the Theft, Loss, and Damages Policy; or b) the excess stated on your Rental Agreement Form. To apply the damage waiver, it is required that a third party must be present, and you should call us to send you an expert, otherwise you will be charged the whole cost of the accident and not only the deductible 

Normally between USD 6.00 and USD 15.00 per day depends on car group (if not included as standard)

Super Damage Waiver (SCDW)

An excess reduction product which reduces your damage waiver excess to USD 110 (or, if higher, the amount shown on your Rental Agreement Form) on cars. To apply the Super damage waiver, it is required that a third party must be present, and you should call us to send you an expert, otherwise you will be charged the whole cost of the accident and not only the deductible 

Normally between USD 8.00 and USD 15 per day depends on car group

Theft Protection waiver (TP)

In most cases, Theft Protection waiver is provided with the vehicle as standard. If it is included, it will be stated on your Rental Agreement Form (and in your booking confirmation).

Theft Protection waiver reduces the amount you pay if the vehicle is stolen during the rental period.

The amount you pay will be the lower of a) the applicable cost payable under the Theft, Loss, and Damages Policy; or b) the excess stated on your Rental Agreement Form. To apply the Theft protection waiver, you should call us to send you an expert, and you must ensure that the original keys are kept in your possession, otherwise you will be charged the whole cost of the car value

Roadside Assistance Plus

This product provides roadside assistance without any additional costs being charged if you break down as a result of vehicle failure you have caused (this includes lost keys).

Super cover insurance

An excess reduction product which reduces your damage waiver excess to USD Zero, it also includes Super theft protection, Personal accident insurance and roadside Assistance plus, to apply the super cover, it is required that a third party must be present, and you should call us to send you an expert, otherwise you will be charged the whole cost of the accident and not only the deductible

Avis Lebanon accepts Avis Charge Cards, American Express, MasterCard, Visa.

We don't accept Maestro cards, Visa Electron Cards, Cirrus Cards, JCB Cards, any pre-paid cards even if they carry the Visa or MasterCard logo or any other cards not listed above.
For car groups I, M, N and P it is Mandatory to present 2 Avis honored credit cards.

Payments for Non-Prepaid reservations should be paid only by Cash USD, International Credit Card, or Lebanese pounds base on Sayrafa Rate.

Debit cards are not accepted.

All drivers must have held a full license for a minimum of 2 years. For foreigners an international driving license and valid passport is required.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Covers the driver of the vehicle and the passengers in the car
Personal Accident Insurance provides the following benefits:

A maximum of USD 25,000.00 in the event of death, loss of limbs or eyes or permanent total disability

A maximum of GBP 5,000.00 towards emergency medical expenses related directly to the accident

Medical assistance and rescue costs (conditions apply)

Normally USD 5.55 per day (charged for a max 10 days to cover rental up to 28 days)

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Responsibility: in case of non-adherence with the Lebanese traffic regulations, insurance will not cover damages incurred to vehicles due to accidents and all charges will be under renters full risk.
Rental period: minimum durantion for any rental is 24 hours, each excess of this will be charged as a full day.
Rule of the road: drive on the right hand side of the road. Seat belts are mandatory.

At this location the minimum age is 23 for all car groups.  A Young Driver fee will apply to drivers between the ages of 21 and 23.  The Young Driver fee is 9.99 USD per day per driver.

Non-cancellation fee: 72.00 USD

Must be returned with a full tank.
