Should you need to change your booking because of the floods, please contact us on 136 333. While we hope your future plans are not impacted, if you need to make a cancellation as a result of the flood emergency, you may cancel any pre- or post-paid reservation through the following link or contact us on 136 333 without penalty.

The Avis Safety Pledge is our relentless commitment to keep every one of our customers and employees safe. All vehicles are cleaned before every rental, paying special attention to high touch point surfaces. Find out more about our cleaning protocols and our 15-point cleaning checklist here.
CAN I PICK UP MY VEHICLE WITH MINIMAL CONTACT?
The safety pledge allows customers to pick up and drop off vehicles with minimal contact. The contactless experience can be further enhanced by using Digital Chek In or the Avis App, especially for Avis Preferred customers, the free to join loyalty scheme. Customers can benefit from a fast track service, and at selected locations bypass the rental desk completely with straight to vehicle access.
DO I NEED TO WEAR A MASK OR CHECK IN WHEN I COLLECT/RETURN A VEHICLE?
Yes, it is a requirement to wear a mask at all times, where mandated by state and territory health orders. You may also be asked to check in using a QR code, for contact tracing purposes, where required.

We strive to keep the majority of our locations open and fully operational. However, due to various travel and government restrictions, some of our locations may have reduced hours or be temporarily closed.
If that occurs, and you have an upcoming rental, you will be contacted by a member of our local team, who will advise on the nearby substitute location for you to pick up or drop off your rental vehicle.
The following Avis Australia locations are closed until further notice:
