Yes, Avis has the full size van, Kia Carnival or similar which comfortably seats 8 passengers.

Avis does not offer any SUVs that seat 8 passengers as this provides no luggage room and are designed for short distance driving.

We offer short-term, medium-term and long-term rental options on 8 seater car hire and other vehicle rental services. With generous cancellation policies and competitive rates, we can be flexible to accommodate your needs, but all of our services and vehicles are subject to availability. Help us to ensure we can match your requirements perfectly by booking as far in advance as possible.

The Driver must (i) hold a full, current and valid driving licence (not being a learners licence or provisional licence), (ii) have an International Driving Permit (IDP) or official translation (if a licence is not in Roman alphabet), (iii) have held their licence for minimum 12 consecutive months immediately prior to signing the Rental Agreement.

An International Driving Permit is not a stand-alone document and this must be carried with your valid domestic driving licence for it to be valid.

Digital drivers licences are only accepted in the issuing state. If you're travelling interstate you must present a physical (plastic) drivers licence.

Due to the dynamic nature of our rental fleet, Avis is not able to guarantee a specific make or model of vehicle. However we do guarantee the group you are booking and you will receive any type of vehicle within that car group. Car groups and models may vary by location and may not be available at all locations.
