Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions
A business must be a Qantas Business Rewards Member to earn Qantas Points for business. A one-off join fee of $89.50 including GST normally applies, however this will be waived for Avis customers. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions. Qantas Points for business are offered under the Avis Terms and Conditions. Members will earn 4 Qantas Points for business for every $1 spent on Time and Kilometre charges on qualifying rental rates in Australia only. Qantas Points for business will not be earned in relation to taxes (including GST), fees, or for charges for insurance, petrol, GPS and other miscellaneous charges. The number of Qantas Points for business earned is limited to 240,000 per year.
Qantas Points for business can only be earned:
a. on freely available retail rates booked through qantas.com. The Member must quote their ABN when making their booking through Qantas.com, or
b. by joining the Avis For Business program and opting to earn Qantas Points for business. Members can sign up to Avis For Business by completing this form.
Points are awarded for vehicle rentals purchased at rates determined by Avis. Unless otherwise specified by the car rental company, Qantas Points for business will not be earned for car rentals of the type described below:
a. vehicle rentals purchased as part of package holidays;
b. free vehicle rentals;
c. vehicle rentals at industry discount rates;
d. vehicle rentals using Award vouchers or discount certificates; or
e. contracted corporate or government rates
Rentals that earn Qantas Points for business can not also earn Avis Business Club Award certificates or Budget Business Club Award certificates. Qantas Points will be credited to the Members' Business Rewards account within 30 days of travel completion.
