This licence category is designed for rigid vehicles weighing between 4.5 and 8 tonnes GVM, or for vehicles carrying more than 12 people including the driver.
What are you supposed to do before you return a rental bus?
When you return your rental bus to Avis, you must do so with a full tank of fuel. We also ask that you remove all your personal belongings from the vehicle. Finally, please return the 20-25 seater bus to us in a clean state, ready for the next customer to drive.
Can Avis provide a driver along with the 20-25 seater bus?
Unfortunately, Avis does not provide drivers for any of our vehicles, including larger buses. If you don't have the appropriate licence to hire a 20 or 25 seater bus, you can hire many smaller vehicles with a standard car licence.
Can I return my rental 20-25 seater bus to a different location?

If something does cause your vehicle to breakdown, we want to make sure you’re back on the road as soon as possible. That’s why we include mechanical breakdown assistance as part of our rates. We’ll come to the rescue in case of any mechanical fault.
Fees will apply for any at fault issues including running out of fuel, flat battery, flat tyres, lost keys or keys locked inside the vehicle. Consider our optional Roadside Assistance Coverage to cover these items.
