And now, Avis has launched a new service for their customers at Sydney and Melbourne Airports - self service kiosks. The kiosks represent a natural step forward with the user experience being similar to airline kiosks which have become very familiar to frequent travellers - the Avis kiosks use a similar, simple touch screen format for ease and speed.

Customers with an Avis Wizard Number (with or without a reservation) can bypass the terminal counter and go straight to the kiosks in the Avis domestic terminal car park in Sydney and Avis booth at Melbourne airport. At the kiosk they can quickly and easily complete the details to collect the rental car - the rental agreement will be printed which will also indicate the parking bay in which their car is located. Customers can then drive to the exit boom gate where they simply show their drivers licence and rental agreement and then depart.
